Questions


For everyone:
Should we take Rosen's article as a diagnostic for a kind of audience we expect to see and purchase our work? Should we consciously cater to their psyche? How are we to interpret this article in regards to our practice? Are the bourgeois who can afford therapy, cable, parent coaching etc. our only public? Historically both criticism and art are petit-bourgeois and bourgeois practices. Are we overpraised americans as well? If yes, how?
